CONFERENCE INTRODUCTION
2026 International Academic Conference on Smart Grid Technology and New Energy Systems (SGES 2026) will be held in Qingdao, China from July 17 to 19, 2026, with offline participation available. As an authoritative international academic platform in the energy and power field, the conference gathers university scholars, technical experts and industry practitioners worldwide. It focuses on core topics including smart grid technological innovation, new energy system design practice, integration and optimization of new power systems, energy storage technology applications, power Internet of Things and energy big data analysis, so as to exchange cutting-edge research achievements and industrial implementation experience.
The conference strictly complies with academic publishing standards. A global expert review committee has been established, and a double-blind peer review mechanism is adopted to ensure academic quality. All forms of academic misconduct are strictly prohibited. Accepted qualified papers will be officially published by IEEE Conference Publishing Services (ISBN: 979-8-3503-4361-8), and indexed in authoritative databases including IEEE Xplore and EI Compendex.
Authors of accepted papers are required to complete registration and deliver on-site presentations; otherwise, the papers will not be published. Outstanding papers will be selected at the conference and recommended for publication in regular issues of indexed international core journals in relevant fields.
We look forward to welcoming global colleagues to gather in Qingdao to jointly promote academic exchanges and technological innovation!

Papers must be formatted according to the conference paper template. Template download: 【Download】.
Papers should have academic or practical value and must not have been previously published in domestic or international academic journals or conferences. Authors may pay to check the similarity of their papers (including the reference section) through CrossCheck, iThenticate, or other query systems. If the paper similarity rate is ≥25%, the author shall bear full responsibility for any rejection caused by this. Papers suspected of plagiarism will not be published and will be listed on the conference homepage.
Authors of papers to be published are required to submit the full text (abstract-only submissions are not accepted), and the paper must be no less than 8 pages.
The reference list must include at least 3 foreign authors.
A paper can only have one corresponding author.
For references: More than half of the references must be from the past 3-5 years.
If a paper is withdrawn due to personal reasons after payment, a service fee (30% of the page fee) will be charged.

REVIEW PROCESS
Peer review is the major quality maintenance measure for any academic journal. In this process, experts in the relevant fields analyze the scholarly work from every perspective, including its writing, the accuracy of its technical content, its documentation, and its impact on and significance to the discipline.
Reviewers play a pivotal role in scholarly publishing, and their valuable opinions certify the quality of the article under consideration. Peer review helps to ratify research, establishing a standard for evaluation within research communities.
Firstly, after a paper is submitted to a journal, a journal editor screens the manuscript and decides whether or not to send it for full peer review. Only after clearing the initial screening is the manuscript sent to two peer reviewers. Finally, journal editors or the journal’s editorial board consider the peer reviewers’ reports and make the final decision to accept or reject the manuscript for publication. The Generic Peer Review Process visualizes this.
