CONFERENCE INTRODUCTION
To adapt to the digital transformation sweeping across the globe and China’s strategic drive to build a digital economy, 2026 International Academic Conference on Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy (AIDF 2026) will be held during May 29-31, 2026, in Wuhan, China.
This conference takes "Empowering Digital Economy Innovation Through Big Data and Artificial Intelligence" as its theme, focusing on cutting-edge research and practical applications in the interdisciplinary fields of big data analytics, artificial intelligence algorithms, digital economy governance, and industry digital transformation. AIDF 2026 aims to foster the exchange of cutting-edge information among global scholars, practitioners, and industry leaders, bridge the gap between academic research and industrial practice, and connect top-tier academic resources worldwide with China’s dynamic digital economy ecosystem. It is dedicated to transforming innovative ideas into tangible industrial solutions, and bringing together talent, technology, and capital to drive the sustainable development of the global digital economy. The conference sincerely invites experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, and relevant professionals from universities, research institutions, and industries at home and abroad to attend and engage in fruitful academic exchange.
Against the backdrop of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, big data and artificial intelligence have become core engines propelling the digital economy. The fusion of these technologies is reshaping business models, optimizing industrial chains, and creating new economic growth points—while also posing unprecedented challenges in data security, ethical governance, and inclusive development. Exploring how to leverage technological innovation to address these challenges and unlock the full potential of the digital economy is the core goal pursued by AIDF 2026.

REVIEW PROCESS
Peer review is the major quality maintenance measure for any academic journal. In this process, experts in the relevant fields analyze the scholarly work from every perspective, including its writing, the accuracy of its technical content, its documentation, and its impact on and significance to the discipline.
Reviewers play a pivotal role in scholarly publishing, and their valuable opinions certify the quality of the article under consideration. Peer review helps to ratify research, establishing a standard for evaluation within research communities.
Firstly, after a paper is submitted to a journal, a journal editor screens the manuscript and decides whether or not to send it for full peer review. Only after clearing the initial screening is the manuscript sent to two peer reviewers. Finally, journal editors or the journal’s editorial board consider the peer reviewers’ reports and make the final decision to accept or reject the manuscript for publication. The Generic Peer Review Process visualizes this.
